2025: Wk of 6/29-7/5; New Nook and WIP Update KNITTING NOOK MOVE I have a new knitting nook!! I miss my over the garage knitting nook but I'm happy to have my stepson living there so the pros are better than the cons. When he moved in, I moved my knitting stuff to the TV area. This has created tension as my "devil cat" does not get along with ANY other pets. This is a constant source of tension between her and my son's two dogs and cat who like to come to the TV area too. I have now taken over the "breakfast room". This room off the kitchen is where we always ate our meals while the kids were growing up. It has windows on three sides and the fourth "wall" is just the countertop along the kitchen sink. I'm loving it since it's so full of light. A baby gate keeps my kitty in the room with me and the dogs away. It still can be used for meals for two as I only use one corner of the table for my knitting/laptop. Now I'm closer to cof...

2025: Wk of 6/1-7; Claire Vest Short and sweet this week. Happy to report no major health episodes!! CLAIRE VEST The Claire Vest got all the attention this week. Sadly I did notice some color "stripping" after I knit about half of the body. I frogged back to the underarm and started alternating between three balls to break it up. I had small balls from frogging the previous top. I don't remember any issues with inconsistent dying from the previous top. Oh well. If it's not done by my daughter's visit in 3 weeks at least she can try it on and I can mail it to her when it's finished. Short and sweet this week since I didn't work on either of my sock projects. Knitting time will take a hit this week as I have to take my dad to doctor's appointments Wednesday, nothing serious, and I will be spending Thursday dealing with the removal of basal cell carcinoma from my nose. Guess no more modeling career for me. hahaha Just hoping to have a nose left. Hubb...
