2025: Wk of 6/1-7; Claire Vest
Short and sweet this week. Happy to report no major health episodes!!
CLAIRE VEST
The Claire Vest got all the attention this week. Sadly I did notice some color "stripping" after I knit about half of the body. I frogged back to the underarm and started alternating between three balls to break it up. I had small balls from frogging the previous top. I don't remember any issues with inconsistent dying from the previous top. Oh well. If it's not done by my daughter's visit in 3 weeks at least she can try it on and I can mail it to her when it's finished.

Short and sweet this week since I didn't work on either of my sock projects.
Knitting time will take a hit this week as I have to take my dad to doctor's appointments Wednesday, nothing serious, and I will be spending Thursday dealing with the removal of basal cell carcinoma from my nose. Guess no more modeling career for me. hahaha Just hoping to have a nose left.
Hubby is celebrating his birthday today. We don't do anything big for birthdays anymore, not even getting the extended family together. It's probably just as well as he still gets tired easily from his low red blood cells. Calls to the doctor just say to be patient. No intervention is needed despite his blood count falling. Hubby made gyro meat so it should be a fun meal with the 2 kids that will be able to join us.
Hope you had a good week of crafting and have fun plans for the coming week. This post is part of the Ravelry Year of Projects group. A great group of crafters who share their fiber crafting plans and updates on their progress. All are welcome. While the year runs from July thru June, bloggers can join anytime and use the year format that fits them best. I personally follow a calendar year format.
